I woke up this morning with this LOVELY e-mail from K-Dawg (remember her? My BFF of all time?!). Anywho she posted a link to a song that made my love starved heart pitter patter, it made me wanna fall in lourve with a silly boy... Not any boy... A special boy that just rocks socks. I'm attaching the link to help spread this lovin' feeling I've got insida me. The song is by Angus & Julia and it's called 'Just a Boy'.
Moving along to the fashion bit, I'm seriously feeling proud of all the Arab ladies out there that are leaving they're little foot prints in the world of glamour and style. Reem Acra exploded in the US and I'm sure in the coming years we'll see more and more doing the same as well. So, a friend of mine (Bish) posted this link of the latest clothing line to come out of the M.E and of course at first I thought it would be... well... kinda like every other thang that's been coming out of my side of the world. But, thankfully, I was proven wrong. YAAAAY!!! I love getting super duper fashion surprises from labels that are literally right around the corner (Lebanon & Dubi in specific). The brand, KAGE, created by Arwa Abdelhadi and Basma AbuGhazaleh is beyond fabulous. Combining glamour and versatility, with a classic vintage feel to their pieces, is what makes this line not only unique but a MUST HAVE in every young lady's wardrobe.
I can NOT wait to get my hands on a couple of pieces! I'm already eying up the off shoulder jersey tee-dress with ruffles. GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GORGEOUS!!!
