I've just realised for almost 90% of my life, & for almost every Eid holiday I've been wearing either a skirt or dress. Since denim is mostly a no-no for our festive day, so I thought for this Eid I'd think outside the box, push my boundaries a little by dressing differently (without breaking the uber 'no casual rule'). I've compiled a couple of outfits to help us all out! Don't worry, I'll include a dress/skirt or two for the sake of tradition! & remember these pieces are a guideline to help you out when you're out shopping this weekend & find yourself stuck in a style rut! Good luck & let me know, if like me, you'd welcome a brand new Eid outfit change up!

xoxo for now & happy Eid shopping,
P.S. I know my list might cause you more confusion than help but what I'm hoping I achieved was emphasizing that a dress & skirt are the classics (which is why I've included a few options) but they don't have to be classic in style. Opt for a leather skirt rather than a regular black pencil one or even a pleated one (very in at the moment) rather than your same ol' thang! The whole thing with introducing the pants into the mix was to also provide you with an option other than cotton or denims. Sometimes a print in a softer fabric could make your look more formal & dressed up if it's styled in the right way (think cotton print pants make sure you mix in a softer fabric such as silk or chiffon). Finally, with my jumpsuit, I think for the more conservative ladies, a jumpsuit is fun & funky in & of itself so all you have to do is throw on a cute cardigan or blazer & you take it up a couple of notches!
P.P.S. Image of the Day: OH MY I totally freaked when I saw this! Can you guess who it is? It's Heidi Klum's halloween costume! Freaky & super disturbing! I can't believe she tweeted the entire process! So SOOOOOO scary!
P.P.P.S. Song of the Day: Mysterious Ways by Snow Petrol (I'm all about the remakes! Absolutely lourve this U2 cover by SP! Super calm & chill! I feel like I'm back in highschool I swear! I need to go polish up my DR. Martins! Whatchu thank? You likey?)
